鹿児島・甑島の民族楽器「ごったん」、九州脊梁の里山の道具「カルイ」、房総の大漁祝い着「万祝」…。日本各地にある趣深い手仕事をはじめ、祭りなどの集落行事、風俗・民族伝承などをリサーチ、再編集するお手伝いをしています。日本の知恵を未来に生かします。A traditional folk instrument called “Gottan” from Koshiki island, “Karui”,a tool used in satoyama ,Kyushu , “Maiwai” a special festive dress for big catch celebration in Bousou ” … Helping to research and re-edit the customs and folklore, including the tasteful handicrafts in various parts of Japan. I will make use of the wisdom of Japan in the future.

海や環境、暮らし、手仕事、食などを主なフィールドに 世界各地で取材をしてきました。近年エクアドルにある日本人が経営する自然農法の バナナ農園、スペイン北部の彩色壁画洞窟群では数千年前のコミュニティのあり方を、アムステルダムでは約1カ月間滞在し、 循環型コミュニティやサーキュラー・エコノミーの最先端を取材しました。 取材した内容は、雑誌やウェブ、ワークショップなどで共有。さまざまな事例を紹介することで、考え、行動する人が一人でも増えれば、ニッポンが少しでも よくなれば、と思い取り組んでいます。I have been interviewing the field all over the world. In recent years, a Japanese-owned banana plantation in Ecuador, the way of being a community in thousands of years ago at a group of colored mural painting caves in northern Spain. In Amsterdam, I stayed for a month, made a research about the cutting edge of material-cycle community and circular economy. By introducing various cases, I hope that the number of people who think and act will increase, and that Japan will improve as much as possible.
